Theresa M. Uotinen, 93, of Superior, died Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in her residence.

Theresa was born in Superior on November 25, 1929, the daughter of Emily (Snoeck) and Stanley Wnek.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge, and enjoyed baking, playing Bingo, going to stock car races, traveling, and going to Dairy Queen for strawberry malts. Theresa volunteered for many years at Villa Marina Health and Rehab, leading the residents in various activities. Most important to her was her family; she especially enjoyed caring for her grandkids.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; husband Martin in 2016; and brothers, Henry, Joseph, Stanley, and Carl Wnek.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Twila) Uotinen, Allen (Brenda) Uotinen, and Fred Uotinen; 5 grandchildren, Lindze (Tyler) Larson, Ryan Uotinen, Joshua (Devyn) Uotinen, Alyssa Uotinen and Brady (Paige Wojtysiak) Uotinen; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Genevieve Giles, Leona (Malcolm) McGuirk, and Rosie Samuelson; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21st from Noon until the 1:00 p.m. service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St., Superior, with Rev. Darrell Kyle officiating.

The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
