Theresia 'Tish'
L. Cheselski
June 9, 1951 – June 23, 2021
Theresia "Tish" Louise (Pattee) Cheselski, 70, of Foxboro, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at home.
Tish was born June 9, 1951, to Ben and Ethel (Winters) Pattee in Superior, the third of nine children. She moved briefly to the Chicago area, but returned to Superior in the early 1970s.
She married Walter "Sonny" J. Cheselski on Oct. 17, 1980, and they moved to Patzau in 1981. Tish was a homemaker who sometimes worked outside the home, but spent much of her free time providing childcare for her grandchildren when they were small.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father- and mother-in-law, Walter F. and Harriett Cheselski; brother- and sister-in-law Dean and Patricia Frikart; and a brother, Robin Pattee.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Sonny; children, Tina Gajda and Jason Larson; grandchildren, Elora Larson (Tyler Wear), Emily VanErt, Dylan Larson and Kylie Larson; siblings, Gerry (the late Pete) Peterson, Laura (the late Bill) Marquardt, Denise (the late Bill) Henry, Ron (Carol) Pattee, Don (the late Mary) Pattee, Randy (Cheryl) Pattee, Mary (Wade) Kruse, Violet (Leo) Sanda, Bob (Linda) Cheselski, Gary (the late Jan) Cheselski and Sharon (Wayne) Johnstad; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and an entire community of extended family members she adored.
She had special friendships with the ladies of her monthly quilting group, The Summit Fabs, and looked forward to attending the gathering each month. The group is "just a few ladies getting together for the love of coffee, conversation, and to let the artist that lives within each of us come out and shine."
The family would like to thank the Summit first responders for their quick response and care. The services you provide to the community are invaluable.
At her request, no formal service will be held.
A celebration of Tish's life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Tri Lakes Community Center in Amnicon, 7872 S. County Road A, Superior. Immediately following the celebration, a picnic lunch will be served.
