Thomas Clarke, 59, of Superior, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at his residence.

Tom was born in Dunfield, Newfoundland, on January 29, 1957, the son of Thomas and Marjorie (Fleet) Clarke.

He worked on the lake boats 30 years for Upper Lakes Shipping. He met and fell in love with his wife, Debbie, and retired from sailing the lakes to acquire his green card to live with the love of his life. They have been married for 15 years and 8 months. Tom loved playing with his six grandchildren or just hanging out with them. He has always been a strong, hard worker and loved working by his father's side cutting trees, fishing, or hunting as he grew up. He always had a story to tell that would keep everyone's attention and laughter would follow. Tom had a heart of gold.

Tom is survived by his wife, Debra of Superior; daughter, Laura Clarke of Edmonton, Alberta; son, Shane Clarke of St. John's, Newfoundland; step-daughters, Heather (Jerry) White of Duluth, and Christa (Steve) Grubb of Blaine, MN, Angel (Leo Kamunen) Fisher of Superior; brother, Bernard (Marina Chaffey) Clarke of Stephenville, Newfoundland; sisters, Edith (Raymond) Bailey of Trinity, Newfoundland, and Bernice (Bruce) Miller of Dunfield, Newfoundland; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Jean (Jim) Graskey of Superior, Judy (Dan) Klimek of Dever, CO, Jamie Fraser of LosAlondras, CA, Laurie (Jeff) Effertz of Hayward; granddaughter, Emily White; grandsons, Caleb White, Landyn Fisher, Carter Fisher, Adam Grubb, and Gunnar Grubb.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marjorie Clarke; father-in-law, William Earhart; mother-in-law, Delores Earhart; brothers-in-law, Robert 'Bud' Earhart, and Glenn Earhart; sister-in-law, Mary Jones; nieces, Cassandra and McKenzie Jones; paternal and maternal grandparents.

By Tom's personal request, there will be no funeral services.
