Thomas A. Dyer, 79, of Superior, died peacefully on Thursday February 27, 2020 at his residence.

Thomas was born in Dennison, Texas on June 25, 1940 the son of Jimmie May (Riley) and Paul Dyer.

He had worked as the store manager at Target in Duluth for many years. He enjoyed planting flowers and trees in his yard, going out to eat, and his pets, especially his dogs. He also enjoyed helping the United Way and the Douglas County Humane Society.

Thomas is survived by his partner of 25 years, Spencer Erkkila. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond Dyer; and his previous partner, Richard Churchill.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 6 ^th from Noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior. Gary Banker will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
