Thomas R. Foerst, 61, of Superior, died unexpectedly Saturday August 7, 2021, at Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Thomas was born in Superior on July 9, 1960, the son of Fredrick Foerst and Loretta (Nelson) Foerst Larson.

He was an excellent carpenter, hard worker and loved his work. He built log homes and everything in between. If Tom did not work a full day, it was a wasted day. He owned and operated Foerst Construction for 21 years. Tom also loved fishing, hunting, cooking and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Tom is survived by his children, Logan (Katie) Foerst, Chelsea Foerst, and Brandon Foerst; mother, Lorrie (Jack) Larson; siblings, Margie (Ron) Berg, Fredrick 'Rick' (Julie) Foerst, Lori (Marv Krogerson) Jamison, and Michael (Cathy) Foerst; and many nieces and nephews.

Following Tom's wishes, no services will be held.
