Thomas Stanley Losiewski, 60, of Ocala, Florida, and formerly of Superior, died suddenly in Ocala, on Monday, March 5, 2012.
He was born March 19, 1951 in Rockford, Illinois, son of Stanley and Jeanette (Durhiem) Losiewski.
Following his retirement, Tom moved to Ocala, where he could ride his Harley all year.
He was an excellent craftsman, woodworker and all around "Mr. Fixit."
Tom had a big heart and an infectious smile. An avid believer that, "Life is too short", he was truly a kid at heart. He had mischievous ways of playing pranks and could certainly dish it out and take it.
Tom was truly a family man and always there for his family. No words could sum up the love and happiness he brought into the lives of his family members. He will live on through great memories that his survivors will carry forever deeply in their hearts.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his children, Matthew (Amy) Losiewski, Superior, Angela (Bill) Johnson, Minong, Andrea (John) Matheson and Crystal (Jeremy) Parks, both of Superior; grandchildren, Dylan, Sidny, Billie, Will, Iain, Chloe, Emily, Bo, Aiden and Ace; the mother of his children, Karen Losiewski-Pigman; and an abundance of friends both new and old.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Memorial services were held in Florida.
Interment will take place at a later date.
