Thomas E. Mattson, 64, of Superior, died Monday, April 28, 2025, at his residence.

He was born July 5, 1960, in Miami, Florida, son of Charles and Frances (Szablinski) Mattson.

Tom proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1986.

Tom worked many years as an over-the-road truck driver, first for Timberline and then Halvor Lines.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his sister, Mary (Ron) Learn, Superior; brothers, John (Kay) Mattson, Lake Nebagamon, WI, and Paul (Annette) Mattson, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A celebration of Tom's life will take place at a later date.
