Timothy Donald
Kettner
Nov 6, 1960 — Oct 9, 2026
Port Wing
Timothy Donald Kettner, 65, of Port Wing, Wisconsin died Friday October 9, 2026. Tim was born on November 6, 1960, in Wausau, WI.
Tim was, without a doubt, the most generous person you could ever meet. Blessed with a huge heart and a truly unmatched work ethic, he lived his life with open arms, ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. With a loud, booming voice and a bull-in-a-china-shop approach, Tim brought a unique energy into every room he walked. He loved to laugh, call the senior ladies “Beautiful,” and share his infectious positivity with everyone around him.
A true outdoorsman and worker at heart, Tim found fulfillment in the simple, rewarding rhythms of hard work. Whether he was splitting wood, stacking hay, hauling sap, or tending to his land, he was happiest when he was outdoors and his calloused, broad hands—with his signature sausage-like fingers—were busy. His generosity extended to his community, where he spent many meaningful hours helping out his favorite dairy farmer and farm hand, as well as serving as a dedicated and beloved softball umpire.
Some of his fondest memories were made in nature—fishing the Brule River and numerous lakes, and hunting side by side with the Kettner men. Above all, Tim cherished his family (especially his granddaughters), his long-time girlfriend Deb, his trusty, giant-pawed Labrador, Mick, and the legacy he built with Crab Catchers
Tim’s spirit of warmth, selfless service, hard work, and larger-than-life personality will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
