Todd D. Sampson, 62, of Superior, WI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 7 ^th , 2022, in his home.

He was born in Duluth, MN on October 9, 1959, the son of John and Rosemary (Anderson) Sampson.

Todd attended Cathedral School and was a graduate of Superior Senior High School, Class of 1978.  On February 23, 1980, Todd married Lori Keup (Zinmer) at St. Francis Church in Superior, WI, and they later divorced.

Todd worked as a chef and spent the majority of his career at Bob's Chop Suey House, Louis' Cafe and then at Gronk's Grill and Bar.  He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Green Bay Packers.

Todd is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosemary Sampson; sister, Sue Maeder; and maternal grandparents, Elmer Anderson and Irene (Tusken) Anderson.

Todd is survived by his children, Melissa (Chris) Buesgen of Chippewa Falls, WI and Leah Kotera of Wyoming, MN; brother, Mike (Collette) Sampson of Mason City, IA; ex-wife, Lori Zinmer of Anoka, MN; and his grandchildren, Brenden Kotera of Anoka, MN and Addisyn and Rhylee Buesgen of Chippewa Falls, WI, as well as several nieces and nephews.

It is always difficult to say goodbye.  Todd will be so greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 23 ^rd , 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Vintage Italian Pizza, 1201 Tower Avenue, Superior, WI 54880.
