Todd M. Walsh, 54 of Superior died Thursday November 5, 2009 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
Todd was born to Patricia (Gibson) and Donald Walsh on June 1, 1955 in Superior and was a lifelong resident.
Todd was employed the Burlington Northern Railroad as a Taconite handler. He was also co-owner of Superior Sports. He was also an accomplished water color artist. He was a brave man who fought his terminal cancer with courage. He enjoyed summers at Boulder Lodge and on the boat. Todd was loved by family and friends
He is survived by his beloved wife and partner for life Ann Doherty, Children Ali (Kevin) King, Casey Walsh, Taylor and Bizzy Cowling all of Superior, grandchildren Rylie and Kooper Todd King, brothers and sisters Pat (Bonnie) Walsh of Superior, Jan Young of Superior, Ann (Ramone) Santana of Chicago, Tom (Kim) Walsh of Indianapolis Ind and Don (Tammie) Walsh of Superior, and several Nieces and Nephews. Also by his extended family Al and Donna Pomeroy, and Reggie and Rooney and Orange and Taylors Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 in Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Rev, Sarah Larsen officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Sunday in the Downs Funeral Home 19th & Ogden.
Pallbearers will be Randy Gunderson, Randy Barker, Bill Flynn, Phil Debruyne, Tim Curtis, Mark Peterson, Tim and Tyler Walsh.
