Tony "Antonio" Leo Chavez, 54 of Oliver, WI died on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, due to complications of a stroke.

He was born April 7, 1968, in Tucumcari, NM to Betty Aragon and James Chavez.

Tony married the love of his life Marie Hemmingsen on March 20, 1987, in Nashville, TN.

Tony was an auto mechanic and diesel mechanic before becoming the owner/operator of TLC Trucking Company.  He worked in his shop as a mechanic in the winter months.  Tony had a passion for building motorcycles from the ground up and working on classic cars, restoring, and making them road ready.  He loved to ride his motorcycle every day the weather would allow throughout the summer months.

Tony enjoyed the many beaches he visited with his wife.  They traveled many places together over the years.  Tony and Marie have spent the last 38 years and the just celebrated their 35 ^th wedding anniversary.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, James Chavez.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; his children, Tony, and Tina Chavez; his grandson Domanick Kaarto; his mother, Betty Aragon; and his brother, Danny (Monica) Aragon and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Service on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., Superior, WI.
