Valeria "Val" Victoria Larson, 97, of Superior, WI, passed with her loving family by her side on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Val was born on October 17, 1927 in Gordon, WI to Lena (Zion) and Peter Klick.

She was a longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where she volunteered for numerous activities over the years.  Val enjoyed music, camping and fishing with her family.  She was an avid newspaper reader and enjoyed clipping out articles for friends and family.

Val was a devoted wife and loving mother.  She will be remembered for the way she lived life and the care she provided for her beloved family. Val was proud that she worked at a bakery, before becoming a devoted mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Clifford Lawrence; her 2nd husband, David Larson; her son, David "Crockett" Larson; her brothers, Joseph, George, Charlie, and Peter Klick; her sisters, Helen and Dorothy; and grandson, Ricky.

Val is survived by her children, June (Wally) Newcombe, Lynn (Mike Cevasco) Lawrence, Carol (Dan) Turcotte, and John Larson; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N. 34th St., Superior.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
