Victoria L. Higgins, 52, of Superior, previously of Ely, MN, died Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Essentia Health- St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

She was born in Superior on July 6, 1965, the daughter of Pete and Sharlene (Lau) Dufour.

Victoria worked at the Boat House in Ely for 12 years before moving back to Superior to help raise her grandson.  She had a beautiful soul that everyone loved.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and fish and loved her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete Dufour and Sharlene O'brien.

Victoria is survived by her son, Eddie (Lacy) Higgins of Superior; grandchildren, Tasha and Leland; sisters, Tracy (fiancé, Tom) Sohre and Kimberly (significant other, Traci) Dufour; brother, Joseph Dufour; step-brother, Billy (significant other, Janelle) Raunio; Victoria's significant other, Keith Hanson and his daughter, Leaha; ex-husband and dear friend, Edward Higgins Jr.; step-mother, Masha Dufour; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, at Vintage Italian Pizza in Superior.
