Virginia M. Hill, 93, of Superior, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center, Superior.

She was born January 26, 1921 in Superior, daughter of Virginia F. (Peterson) and James L. Master.

Virginia was a 1939 graduate of Superior Central High School.

On May 24, 1941, Virginia and Franklin Hill were united in marriage at Christ Lutheran Church, Superior.

Virginia worked a short time at Billings Park Bakery and was a great homemaker.

She enjoyed keeping a clean home, golfing and loved animals.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Franklin "Tucker" Hill in 2009; son, Thomas in 1981; and brother, Jack Keller.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith Koski, Superior; daughter-in-law, Beverly (Thomas) Donaldson, Hermantown, MN; grandchildren, Michelle Koski, Jane (David) Worley, Amy (Jameel Abdur-Rafia) Hill, and Steve (Vicki) Hill; great-grandchildren, Thomas Hill, Greta Worley, Jack Worley, and Olivia Rafia; 8 step great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Mike Flynn; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 until the 12 noon service, Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Christ Lutheran Church, 320 N. 28 ^th Street East, Superior. Reverend David Schoessow will officiate.

Following the service, everyone is invited to a luncheon in the church fellowship hall.

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Animal Allies of Superior.

Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
