Wanda J. Sauers, 80, of South Range, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospice, Superior.
She was born May 19, 1930 in Hawkins, WI, daughter of John and Dortha May (Taylor) Morgan.
Wanda worked at the former Superior Memorial Hospital for many years.
Some of her interests included cooking, growing flowers and shopping; however, her greatest love was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Donald Peter Sauers; son, Robert Severin; and brothers, Jerry, Bill and Floyd Morgan.
Survivors include her children, Diane (Charles Klein) Myers, Superior, and Randy (Beth) Severin, Superior; daughter-in-law, Rosy Janowicz; grandchildren, Gary (Rocky) Lutz, Brenda Myers, Jody (Chuck) Nelson, Julie (Jim) Myers, Alysia Myers, Tom Meyers, Bobbie Jo Severin, Sheyenne Severin, Eric Severin, Kathryn Severin, Carolyn Severin, Helen Severin, and Robert Severin; great-grandchildren, Clarissa, Aleah, Dylan, Mark, Miranda, Kassidy, Nathan, Blake and Lacey; brothers, Delbert (Diane) Morgan, Dale (Denise) Severin and Jack (Shirley) Morgan; sisters, Wanita Kahlar, Charlotte "Char" (Morgan) DeMars, Cheryl (Steve) Dinda and Dawn (Stan) Hager; very special friend, Cliff Hansen; aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her little dog, Lucky.
The visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.
Chaplain Sara Lund of St. Mary's Hospice will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lutz, Nathan Myers, Chuck Nelson and Dylan Whitwell, Mark Booker and Tom Meyers.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
