Obituary

Warner L. Breitzmann, 87, of Superior, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Twin Ports Health Services, Superior.

He was born September 9, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI, son of Herbert and Laura (Solberg) Breitzmann.

In 1951, Warner Breitzmann and Geraldine Goldberg were united in marriage.

For several years, Warner served with the National Guard.

Warner's work history included the Soo Line Railroad, Great Northern Railroad, Campbell Lumber and the Superior School District.

In his younger years, Warner enjoyed snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, gardening and stopping at his favorite watering holes.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Geraldine in 1972; son, Michael in 2017; brother, Herb; and special friend, Marlene LaPole.

Survivors include his son, Anthony (Marlene Brown) Breitzmann; 2 grandchildren, Matt and Eric Breitzmann; 5 great-grandchildren, Lake, Ari, Teddy, Mila and Bauer Breitzmann; siblings, Lorraine Urbaniak, Roger (Sandy) Breitzmann, Alan (Shelley) Breitzmann, and Julie Breitzmann; daughter-in-law, Nancy Breitzmann; and devoted caregiver and companion, Mary Omberg.

A graveside service will possibly be held at Calvary Cemetery, at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Twin Ports Health Services for their compassionate care given Warner during his brief stay.
