William "Bill" David Love, 71, of Superior, WI died on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in his home.

He was born in Superior, WI on November 1, 1951 to Donald and LuCille (Schipper) Love, Sr.

Bill was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era.

He married Carolyn Peterson on February 6, 1981 in Superior, WI

He returned home and was employed at Jack Links for about seven years.  Bill moved back to Superior to be closer to his family and health services.  He worked as a caretaker/handy man working on homes and apartments for many years.

Bill was a member of the VFW in Superior and was very proud to be a veteran.

He enjoyed playing pool, cards, Yahtzee and never missed an opportunity to play a game of cribbage.  Bill loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tina O'Neil; his brothers, Donald, Jr., Dennis, Douglas, Patrick, and David.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Tammy (John) Marro; sons, Troy (Michelle) Lyons, CJ Repinski, and Russel Repinski; sisters, Linda (Rick) Pooler and Darla (Ron) Salo; brothers, Daniel (Susan) Love, Richard (Debbie) Love and Thomas Love; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery.  Military honors accorded by the Richard I Bong American Legion Post #435.
