William M. Johnsen, Sr., 57, of Superior, died Tuesday April 5, 2016 at his residence.

William was born in Superior on Oct. 7, 1958 the son of Robert and Mary Kay Johnsen.

He had worked as a Grain Inspector for the State of Minnesota.
He enjoyed Steelhead fishing and was an avid racing fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his children, William 'Willie' (Jodi) Johnsen, Jr., and Kelly (Chris) Lindelof all of Superior; grandchildren, Logan and Tanner Johnsen; mother, Mary Kay; sisters, Robyn (Jim) Luscombe of Texas, Barb (Steve) Pavcovich of Florida; brother, Bob (Shelloy) Johnsen of Superior; a special friend, Jill Graves of Siren, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be on Sat. April 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Fr. Andrew P. Ricci will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior.
