William "Bill" Adlai Terry, 68, of Superior, died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Essentia Health Miller Dwan Medical Center in Duluth.

Bill was born on December 24, 1953, in Pasadena, California, the son of William and Dorothy (Martin) Terry. When Bill was young, he and his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he resided until 1991. He served his county honorably with the US Navy from 1969-1973.

Bill married Dana on December 3, 1990, in St. Louis. In 1991, he moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He spent many years in the restaurant business as a district and regional manager, and then found his true passion working in finance for the automotive industry and retired in 2014.

He loved baseball, and especially loved his St. Louis Cardinals. He knew so many baseball stats from many players and teams. Bill also loved music, mostly music from the 60's and 70's. He also dabbled in the stock market for a fun hobby.

Bill is survived by his wife, Dana of Superior; son, Matthew of Yorkville, Illinois; stepdaughters, Jennifer (Aaron) Kluck of Brookings, South Dakota and Justine Nygaard of Lake Holcombe, Wisconsin; and grandchildren, Alexandra and Benjamin Kluck.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the noon funeral service on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, with Reverend Father Andrew Ricci officiating.

Military honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
