Wilmer S. Dock, 90 of Superior, WI, died Friday, May 24, 2024, at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Superior.

Wilmer was born January 20, 1934, in Mower, MN to Emma (Lange) and Sylazan Dock.

He served his country with the US Air Force.  Wilmar was passionate about spending time with his wife and family.  He enjoyed playing the harmonica and moving down the road.

He was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for many years retiring at the age of 80 from Halvor Lines Inc in Superior.

Wilmer was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Philomena; his son, Bennie Mayse, and his granddaughter, Vanessa Mayse.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Dock and Ted Dock; his daughters, Philomena (Jim) Powell and Susan (Jerry) Dalton; his grandchildren, Christy (John) Kimmes, Misty Lawson, Cheryl Lawson, and James (Julia) Powell; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Moments Hospice and especially Stephanie for the tender care she provided to Wilmer and his family.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St., Superior, WI.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors provided by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
