Caroll T. Gotsky, 93, of Superior, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living, Superior.

She was born December 15, 1923, in Stratford, WI, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Stemler) Heinzen.

Caroll Heinzen and John Gotsky were united in marriage on August 3, 1954.

John and Caroll moved to Mason Wi where Caroll was employed by the Bank of Mason and she worked as a treasurer for the Village of Mason.  This is where her love of gardening grew and she enjoyed caring for her family.  After moving to South Range, Wi she delighted in the time spent with her grandsons.  Caroll loved telling jokes which was how she brought joy to other people

Caroll was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church and for many years helped with Meals on Wheels and bingo.

Preceding her in life were her parents; husband, John; sisters, Muriel and Shirley; and brothers, John and Kenneth.

Survivors include her son, David (Cathy) Gotsky, South Range; and grandsons, Jason and Ian, both of Superior.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Caroll's life will be held at V.I.P., 1201 Tower Avenue, beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.  Scriptures will be read at 5:30pm that evening.
